Speaking at the closing of the Claregalway Festival of Drama, Michael Hession thanked the many people who had made the festival such a success. Mr Brennan paid special thanks to the Claregalway Community Centre management committee and the groups and schools who make the facilities available to host the drama festival each year. Special tribute was paid to the sponsors and advertisers. This event will be staged in the Claregalway Leisure Centre and will run from the 21st of April to the 29th of April inclusive. Results of Claregalway Festival of Drama 2014

Compantas Lir were founded back in and took part in the festival circuit for the first time in Popular this week Sorry. All present were in agreement that it was a very successful with large attendances most nights. This is an outstanding achievement for Compantas Lir to reach the All Ireland finals in the open section in just their second year of participation.

Claregalway Festival of Drama has once again proved to be a huge success as the curtain came down after nine wonderful nights of entertainment. The venue for the Festival will be St. Kildare, Tom had over thirty resullts involvement with amateur drama.
